Kronos Quartet

You might see two violins, a viola, and a cello and assume that the Kronos Quartet is yet another stuffy string quartet, but you’d be wrong.  Very wrong.  I saw them waaaay back in the day when they performed in our college of music, and they made an impression on me back then for actively seeking out and commissioning music from contemporary artists and composers.  I finally caught up with them again last Friday, when they played music from 4 Fences.  It was damn cool.
